Refund policy
Returns
We operate a 14-day return period, which means you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- in their original condition
- returned in original packaging, where possible
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items may be non-returnable where indicated (for example, earrings). Additionally, rings that have been resized cannot be returned. Any other such exclusions will be clearly stated on the product page.
How to request a return
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@storyofaurum.com within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions once your request has been approved.
Return shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Items should be returned using Royal Mail services, and we strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you to confirm whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receipt of the returned item.
Please note:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Refund times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Faulty or incorrect items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@storyofaurum.com with details and photographs where appropriate. In these cases, we will cover the return postage and offer a replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
